We work with institutions only in Nova Scotia because we are based here, know the province well and it is the best place to study in Canada.

Nova Scotia is known as Canada's education province and Universities and Colleges welcome international students from around the world. International students account for nearly 1 in 10 of all students enrolled on the University campuses in Nova Scotia.   The quality of life here is unparalleled, with safe cities and a multicultural society, where customs and traditions are respected and valued. Nova Scotia is truly a study destination that will exceed your expectations. Halifax is the largest city in eastern Canada, with more than 380,000 people offering all the excitement of a big city with a small town atmosphere. Halifax is Atlantic Canada's leading educational, business and cultural Centre.

At Wim-Ped, it is our view that education is enriched by a broad knowledge of other countries, societies and cultures.

We have the knowledge and expertise to facilitate and organize exchange programs between educational institutions and groups who wish to travel to any of the West African countries in which we operate.

We will work with you to identify the Institution(s) with which you would like to set up an exchange program. We will help organize trips where students can visit the country of their choice and arrange visits by students from those countries to Nova Scotia.

Wim-Ped also encourages twinning programs - children exchange letters, pictures and gifts making childhood friends in other parts of the world even without meeting them.

Twinning has become an effective way for children across the world to learn about children in other countries of the world.

We shall be happy to discuss any proposals that you may have so that together we can work out a worthwhile and beneficial program.

For the benefit of the numerous visitors to this site, we have included a small selection of Cultural Items and authentic West African regalia that you can purchase by order only .
