Wim-Ped’s application process is two-pronged. The first part
generally takes between 10-30 days to complete, depending on when
the process is initiated. This is also assuming there are no mistakes
and omissions. Timing for the second part of the process can be more
difficult to determine as it depends largely on the requirements
that students have to meet to get Study Permits to study in Ghana.
Our expectation is that students who begin the process in May should
easily complete the entire process and be ready for school by the
following September.
PART A
- Wim-Ped Inc. Shall advise
and work with intending applicants to develop a Study or
Career objective
- A Contract Form must
be signed by the candidate or the candidate's guardian to
engage Wim-Ped Inc to initiate the process of applying for admission
on behalf of the applicant.
- A fee of USD$200 or
its equivalent in the currency from which the student is
applying and at the inter-bank rate of exchange on the date of
payment will be charged. Payment shall be received in Banker's
Draft or by direct Transfer to Wim-Ped's account.
- Applicant
must put together all the necessary documentation (school
transcripts, copies of certificates, confirmation that the candidate
speaks English and can take classes in English etc) to make an
application to your chosen school.
- Application
for admission to your chosen school will then be made by
Wim-Ped Inc upon receipt of all the relevant documents.
- Wim-Ped Inc will remain
in touch with the school and follow-up your application.
- If the candidate is
successful, a Letter of Acceptance will be issued by the
School. Wim-Ped Inc will then deliver it to the candidate personally
or to his/her Guardian.
Please note that the fee of USD$200.00 includes any
non-refundable application fee that your school will charge,
courier services as well as administrative services provided
by Wim-Ped Inc. All other cost associated with collection
of certificates, transcripts and recommendation letters are
to be borne by the candidate. In the event that your application
for acceptance is not successful Wim-Ped Inc. will refund up
to 30% of the fee paid, excluding the non-refundable fee applicable
to the school of choice. Wim-Ped Inc. strongly urges
applicants never to knowingly, negligently or fraudulently
include any false information in their application documentation,
such as false grades, misrepresentation of their competence
in English as a medium of communication and instruction, falsified
certificates, false funding information, false personal information,
or any such thing that, if discovered, may not only cause their
applications to be rejected, but may make them liable to suit
or prosecution for appropriate offences in civil or criminal
court as well as forfeit their right to any refund. Wim-Ped
Inc. reserves the right to change its fees without prior notice.
PART B
Once a Letter of Acceptance has been issued by your school
and delivered to you, Wim-Ped Inc. will begin the process of
applying for a Study Permit to enable you study in Ghana, provided
that this is required of the student. Where the student enjoys
a waiver due to protocols between the Ghanaian Government and
other countries, this process will not be necessary. This part
of the process takes no more than 30 days barring any mistakes
and omissions relating to any requirements that must be met to
successfully execute the process. In this part of the process:
- Applicant
shall be required to pay an additional fee of USD$500.00
to enable Wim-Ped Inc help the applicant to initiate and to undertake
the whole process of applying for a Student Permit.
- Wim-Ped Inc shall pick
up the Student Permit application form from the Ghana High
Commission and shall help the applicant to fill it out.
- Wim-Ped Inc shall provide
applicant with general advise as to how to approach his/her
for a Student Permit at the Ghana High Commission.
- Where applicable,
applicant will be required to pay your fees directly
to the school in Ghana before Wim-Ped Inc. proceeds with
the rest of this part of the process.
- After applicant properly
fills all the necessary forms, Wim-Ped Inc. shall submit the
application for a Student Permit on behalf of the applicant.
- Wim-Ped Inc. shall inform
the applicant of the results of his/her interview and let him/her
know what further steps are required.

fee for Student Permit, any non-refundable fees charged by
the Ghana High Commission as well as administrative services
rendered by Wim-Ped Inc. However, all other costs associated
with the process such as medical examinations, security clearance,

successful, we will refund up to 30% of the fee paid by the
candidate, excluding any non-refundable fees paid to the Ghana
High Commission . Wim-Ped Inc. strongly urges applicants never
to knowingly, negligently or fraudulentlyinclude any false
information in their application documentation, such as false
grades, misrepresentation of their competence in English as
a medium of communication and instruction, falsified certificates,
false funding information, false personal information, or any
such thing that, if discovered, may not only cause their applications
to be rejected, but may make them liable to suit or prosecution
for appropriate offences in civil or criminal court as well
as forfeit their right to any refund. Wim-Ped Inc reserves
the right to change its fees without prior notice.
