Wim-Ped Incorporated has been established to facilitate the recruitment
of students from the West African sub-region, namely, Ghana, Nigeria , Sierra
Leone, Liberia, Gambia, Senegal, Cameroon, Benin, Togo, Burkina
Faso and Cote
d'Ivoire, to institutions of higher learning in Nova
Scotia We also point Companies in Nova Scotia to business
leads and opportunities in the emerging sectors of the Ghanaian economy.
With improvements in communications technology traditional trade
partnerships are changing and therefore the need to explore alternative
ways of business have become even more important. At the same time,
many analysts now advocate trade rather than aid as a prudent means
by which developing nations can shed the cloak of poverty
in order to provide good health, education and food for their
peoples in a democratic environment.
We at Wim-Ped are doing our bit by identifying areas of cooperation
from our base in Halifax, Nova
Scotia. We are concentrating on dealing
with businesses in Nova
Scotia and Ghana and then gradually help
establish relationships in all the other countries in the
West African sub-region were we operate. Through our operations we
are assisting in the transfer of Canadian technology, goods, knowledge
and services to a region where the potential
for enormous business activity remains.
We also facilitate cultural and educational exchanges and twinning programs for the mutual benefit of all parties. We carry a limited quantity
of cultural regalia and materials from West African origins on order
only. Wim-Ped Incorporated is a Limited Liability Company that is
registered with the Province of Nova
Scotia.
We are committed to facilitating the transfer of technology and
knowledge, through student recruitment as well as goods and services
between businesses in Nova
Scotia and their counterparts in West Africa,
in an efficient and cost effective manner for the mutual benefit
of all parties.
Wim-Ped Inc. is based in Halifax, and is registered in the
